What a Week

It's Sunday night and I'm thinking about what needs to be done this next week, and wondering where the past week went. Between work, the gym and a trip to Vegas it just flew by.

Last weekend was the Stitch Retreat in Las Vegas, which was fun as always, It's incredible the beautiful work these women do. I"m currently working on a Baby Announcement for a friend who had a beautiful little girl a couple of months ago. I'm about half-way through the project and will try and post a picture in the next couple of weeks.

Good news is, I've joined the gym and been consistent about going - three days/week, usually M - W, Thursdays and Fridays are way too busy. I'm enjoying myself while exercising and hoping to lose some weight in the process.

Another trip to Vegas this week....I think I'm tired of flying back and forth, hopefully now I can stay home for a bit. 3 trips in 3 weeks is a bit much.

Today I finally got some time to work on the Crop Chocolate October Focus Group Challenge - it was Pinterest inspired. Here's my inspiration and what I came up with.

It was kind of fun to do three different cards using the same inspiration.

Pinterest was also the inspiration for a treat I made today...Crock Pot Cinnamon Almonds...

Boy are they yummy. Oh the caption on the picture is for the Picture a Day a group of us are doing on Facebook.

I also got out this morning a took a couple of pictures of the beautiful foliage near my home.

The weather is supposed to turn rainy - with a chance of snow in the mountains tomorrow and Tuesday. So I decided to make a big pot of my favorite soup today - Don's Potato Soup, can't wait for it to be done. This will also be the recipe I use for the next Crop Chocolate recipe swap, which I will be working on next weekend.

Have a fantastic week and Keep Dreaming.......
