Happy 4th of July
Wow, I can't believe the almost half of the summer has gone, I've been so lazy about posting on my blog, I think I'd better set a goal to post at least once a week. July is always a busy month for me with the 4th, my youngest sister's birthday on the 5th and my birthday the following week, the 23rd also would have been my dad's birthday. When we were kids, we'd celebrate all three birthdays with a summer vacation. Now, I just joke about taking more time off in July than in any other month, this year however, that's not really true. While I'm taking time off next week to head to Napa to celebrate my day, I took a week off in June to spend time in Las Vegas with friends. Today, I finally got to sit down and do some crafting, I made a couple of cards, one that I can show here, which was done for the contest this week on Crop Chocolate, and one that I will have to wait to show until after July 20th since it's for the Crop Chocolate focus group
