Thanksgiving......

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and I have been remiss in posting to my blog. Time has just gotten away from me for the past couple of months, but now I'm back (I hope).

I've been busy in the craft room the past few weeks with Thanksgiving and holiday projects.

My first project was for the Crop Chocolate November Focus Group Challenge ----- I'm Thankful For...
Here's my entry, Counting my Blessings instead of Sheep (from White Christmas)

A few of the things I'm thankful for, my family, my friends (old and new), my fur kids, and the ability to travel to beautiful places (Hawaii is one of my favorite spots).

Last weekend I spent Sunday crafting with friends at a home crop, I made some cute turkeys

I love the colored googly eyes. I gave the pink-eyed turkey to Miss Alyssa, she's my favorite 3 year old.

Thanksgiving was very low-key for me, I basically stayed home and had a fantastic turkey dinner. Friday and Saturday I attended Daytime Madness crops at Scrapbook Paradise. Here's the results of the two days

A birthday card for my 19 year old nephew Jake.

A fiftieth birthday card for my brother-in-law Bruce......he's feeling old (the inside says "Happy Birthday Old Man")

A Christmas card for the Crop Chocolate Secret Santa.

A mini-album for my best friend Suzi - this is the cover of the tin,

Side Two - the back page will have a poem or some personal reflections, I haven't decided yet.

Today, I spent the day cleaning and decorating for the holidays.

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care....in hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would be there (a girl can dream can't she).

Tomorrow it's back to work. I hope all of you have a great week. Keep dreaming........
