Spring Break

So spring has sprung - or so they say, at least I'd like to hope that's true, but I live in Reno, and am sure to see a bit more cool weather before spring is here to stay. But, I'll enjoy having the windows open while I can. Tonight I'm going to cook out for the first time this season - I have a tri-tip marinating as we speak. Yum!

While I've been busy the past few months, I've been suffering a bit of a creative block. I'm hoping that it is beginning to pass. Here's what I've come up with

First of all, my recipe cards for the Crock Pot Recipe swap over at Crop Chocolate

I used Sookwang tape, Microfine glitter (warm) from Elizabeth Crafts, a digital stamp and my Copic markers to create the crockpot.

Now, here is a sympathy/thinking of you card I created for a friend of mine who lost her dad recently

The green is a shimmer sheet that I ran through my texture boutique machine with a Stampin Up embossing folder.

Here are my March birthday cards for my Sister, Nephew and a close friend

The cupcake is an outline by Elizabeth Crafts, colored with copics and embellished with stickles.

Another outline by Elizabeth Crafts, done with stickles, the stamp set is from Close to my Heart.

Sorry on the last one, blogger has a mind of it's own as usual. The cake outline is another from Elizabeth Crafts, this time colored with my Copics.

Today I also made Easter baskets for 2 of my favorite young ladies

I cut these using my silhouette cameo with some papers from my stash. I will get them filled with the goodies I picked up this week, so I can deliver them on Wednesday.

I'm heading to San Francisco next weekend to celebrate the Easter holiday. I'm looking forward to spending some time exploring, during a city tour and Muir Woods tour. Hopefully, I will also get the chance to explore Golden Gate Park.

Here's wishing you all a Happy Easter - Keep Dreaming
