Busy, Busy, Busy

That's just what it's been the past couple of weeks. Last weekend I was busy at a National Scrapbook Day (Weekend) crop at one of my favorite stores Scrapbook Paradise. Laura hosted a weekend of scrapbooking, giveaways and make & takes. I won a couple of things during the drawings, including some of the new Reminisce Travel line, beautiful paper. During the crop I worked on the challenges from Crop Chocolate/Oh My Crafts online crop and finished my Maui scrapbook.

Here's what I came up with, for the Crop Chocolate/Oh My Crafts online crop.

Something Old.....

Remember twistel and big bulky metal embellishments? And all of those eyelets that you hoarded that are now collecting dust on your shelf?? Use your OLDEST scrapbook product to create a one of a kind project.

I had a piece of paper that I bought when I first started scrapbooking a few years ago, I also used some MM celery ribbon, wedding jewels and glitter alphas.

Something New.....

We've all bought something that we've never used before, and if you're like me - it's probably still sitting there waiting for you to use it. So break out that new product and get crafty with it!!!

For this challenge I used Echo Park's This & That Graceful Collection, some brads from my stash and MM's celery ribbon. I cut the 3D flowers on my silhouette.

Something Borrowed.....

Let's celebrate the creativity of all of us!! I'm sure there's a LO or project that someone else has done that's totally caught your eye. "Borrow" it as inspiration and create your own!
**Please try to use someone here at CC's work! You can search back through contest and profiles. :)**

For this challenge I chose a card from By Belle on Crop Chocolate....Here is her original.

Here is my take on the card using Echo Park's Hello Spring Mini Collection, Bazzill Cardstock, Stickles (Orange Peel, Fruit Punch and Stardust), Liquid Pearls (Bisque and Orchid) and some twine.

Something Blue....

There are SO many amazing shades of blue in the color spectrum. Incorporate 5 elements of blue into a project.

This 2 page layout was made for a friend's scrapbook of a trip we made to Disneyland to celebrate her birthday. Echo Park's Summer Days collection and MM Glitter alphas were used on the page, there are also small jewel Mickey's made out of Bo Bunny jewels and pearls.

With This Ring....

With This Ring... Include buttons or other embellishment in a shape (or) letter - ie heart, linked wedding rings, circle, R, A, etc.

My last entry into the challenges is a wedding card for my best friend's son who is getting married this June. I used Echo Park's This & That Graceful Collection, Pearls, Recollections Ribbon and an embellishment from Jolee's.

I also made a page for the wedding gift that I will put in a shadowbox, here's the page, lots of flowers from Petaloo and the orchids cut on my silhouette.

I did change the embellishment up in the corner, I put the True Love on the card and used Romance on the page.

I worked on a lot more, and will post again later this week or next weekend.

Until next time.....................................Keep Dreaming, I know I will.
